Monthly Wrap Up

July 2021 Wrap Up

The year is half over, and what a year it’s been. Highs, lows, lefts, rights, I’m tired and haven’t slept well in days. Hopefully July treated you well! Once again I didn’t read as much as I would have liked, but I’m still well ahead my reading goal, so it’s okay. I wish I had managed to keep the momentum I had from earlier this year, but with how much my life is changed, I guess I should be surprised

What I Listened To…

I did manage to listen to some music that wasn’t BTS or Kpop, and because I know it’s a rather niche interest (that millions and millions of people enjoy) I’ll try and avoid inundating you with… uh… what my life mostly is right now.

What I Watched…

IMHO this song could have used a lot less auto-tuning, every single one of them sings well, so why distort their voices like that? Still, it’s a fun, sweet song with a good message, the video is inclusive and hopeful, and this will be the closest I ever come to enjoying Ed Sheraan’s music.

Babish makes some choices, man. Maybe they aren’t all great, but they are choices. The “Botched” series so much fun, full of mistakes, curse words, and melt downs, it’s like real kitchen life!

Max Miller is here once again to educate and entertain us with his work, if you haven’t jumped on the Tasting History train you really, really should!

The vibes in this video are just *chefs kiss* absolutely perfect.

Jasma Fusion Cuisine is a small YouTube channel that deserves more love- I mean, look at this cake! It’s amazing, and the host, Jasma is so knowledgeable and sweet, her videos are very relaxing and informative.

It’s hard to believe July is over, it’s been a month of change for me, and it seems like August will be too. I hope I can settle into my new routine and get back to my usual levels of productivity soon. How has July treated you? Are you keeping up with all your goals or has summer proved a distraction for you as well? Good luck out there, and I’ll see you in the next post!

    1. Well, I really enjoyed it! I’m always curious about Japanese culture and how it’s evolved over time, having it tie into anime in any way is just a lucky bonus! Hopefully more of your readers will warm up to these sort of posts in the future, because you did an excellent write up.
