Monthly Wrap Up

May 2021 Wrap Up

Wow, another month here and gone- this whole time moving faster as you get older thing is ridiculous. May was pretty good to me on a personal level, I managed to hit a good stride with my photography and actually feel like I somewhat back to the level I used to be at, and I completed the first draft of my novel! As I write this I’m nearing the end of a three week break from working on it before I dive back in for edits, so June is going to be a very busy month along those lines! How did May treat you guys? Did you accomplish everything you set out to do, or did you catch spring fever and found yourself distracted?

What I Read This Month in Books…

I didn’t read as much as I would have liked this month, a combination of work related stress, general business, distraction, and exhaustion held me back. But I made my initial reading goal of 35 and bumped it up by another ten, so progress is slow but steady.

What I Listened To…

What I Watched…

Part One: How does the world SURVIVE when this much intelligence, humor, and good looks end up in a room together? This video doesn’t answer that, but it does tear into an episode of Grey’s Anatomy- a show I used to watch and am SO GLAD I stopped.

Part 2: Guys, it’s not about the destination, it’s about the sponges we lose along the way.

How did I not know this happened?!

Why are Jimin and Jungkook trying to commit violence on their fans by being SO INCREDIBLY CUTE? Stop, the world can’t handle it in it’s current state.

My favorite song from this years Eurovision! Which apparently everyone else hated?! This music video was funny and kind and people need to lighten up.

Well, there it is! May would have been a great month if it weren’t for… everything else, but I can’t complain too much on a personal level. My brick and mortar job is stressful and unpleasant, but I make good things and moments where I can and try to keep the balance. How was May for you guys? Feel free to link me any of your wrap ups in the comments and I’ll be sure to check them out!
