February 2021 Wrap Up

February, why are you like this? Every year it seems February lives up to it’s place as Tuesday of the months and just sort of drags by. The momentum of January was lost in terms of writing, though I managed to maintain an excellent reading pace. I didn’t get out nearly as much as I would have liked for hikes and photography, but I have a hard time motivating myself when the temps are below thirty most nights, so hopefully with the arrival of spring I can find some of that drive again.

What I Watched…

Max Miller is the man behind the breakout YouTube channel- Tasting History. On Ketchup with Max- his fiance Jose interviews and teases him, while their cat Jaime eats everything that is not edible. Wholesome, interesting, and entertaining- though you should probably check out the original channel for context.

A fun, danceable song- Jon Batiste is super underrated and I am so glad I randomly stumbled across this video!

City Girl is one of my all time favorite musicians, she creates beautiful, fun, sometimes charming, sometimes melancholy music that is endlessly listenable. Here she is collaborating with some other lovely talent to make a cute little song that was an instant like for me.

Two Gay Geeks- what more can you say? In this installment the guys interviewed K. D. Edwards, author of the Tarot Sequence. If you’re a fan of the series I highly recommend giving it a listen, though I wasn’t prepared for the unspoilery hints that Keith kept dropping. Doesn’t he know we’re all in a delicate emotional state?

While it’s high time we have a lady president, Kamala Harris’s rise may very well pave the way. Her poise, skill, and vision are just what America needs right now, and I am so proud to have helped vote her into office.
